I am delighted to share that baby 3 was born in our living room in London in a homebirth at 545am on 26 Oct 2022.
I planned to birth in the pool but at the very end lifted myself out of the pool and birthed the baby right after - the midwife didn't even have time to put gloves on (so I was told). My husband passed the baby to me for skin to skin on the sofa and my older two came down to see their baby brother seconds later. I was then transferred to hospital to monitor blood loss but all was well and we were home soon as a new family of 5.
Feeling so grateful for my friend Spacey that introduced to me the idea of homebirth and the midwives that have supported me, especially Miranda during all her home visits.
Look forward to my new chapter of life with a family of 5!
